Who Are We?

Legacy is a Student Government Association party dedicated to building a network of influential and aspiring leaders. Our mission is to bridge the gap between diverse campus organizations, creating a culture of collaboration to advance Florida State University’s institutional goals while supporting the personal growth of every student leader. 

We aim to cultivate a premier leadership ecosystem by integrating voices from across the university, including:

- Student Organizations: DSOs, Agencies, and Prominent RSOs.

- Athletics, Individual College Leadership Boards, Administration, and Alumni.

- Greek Life: All five Greek Councils, Honor Societies, and Professional Fraternities.

In addition, Legacy is committed to more than just representation; we are focused on student development. Through our networking initiatives and professional development, we provide:

- The Delegate Program & Senate Slate: Direct pathways for students to enter student government and advocate for their college and peers.

- Mentorship: Strategic opportunities to connect incoming students with senior leadership and administration.

At its core, Legacy exists to highlight and enhance the traditions that define Florida State. By celebrating our rich history and unique spirit, we ensure that as we move toward the future, we remain grounded in the excellence that makes us Seminoles.
